An Induction Programme for the first-year students admitted to the Academic Year 2026–2027 was conducted on 17 June 2026 in the New Seminar Hall. The programme commenced with a prayer song, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Welcome Address was delivered by Mr. Arul Raj, HoD/Basic Engineering, who warmly welcomed the Secretary, Principal, faculty members, parents, and the newly admitted students. The Presidential Address was delivered by our respected Secretary, Sr. A. Avila Therese, SAT, who congratulated the students on becoming a part of the institution. She encouraged them to pursue academic excellence, uphold discipline and values, and make the most of the opportunities available for their overall growth and development. The session was felicitated by our Principal, Rev. Sr. P. Amalorpavam, SAT, who motivated the students to actively participate in both academic and co-curricular activities. She emphasized the importance of dedication, responsibility, and continuous learning in shaping a successful future. The Rules and Regulations of the institution were explained by Mr. R. Vijay Sharma, Lecturer/English, who familiarized the students with the college's academic policies, attendance requirements, examination procedures, and campus discipline. He encouraged the students to adhere to these guidelines and maintain the reputation of the institution. The programme provided an opportunity for the students to become familiar with the college environment, interact with faculty members, and gain an understanding of the facilities, support services, and academic expectations. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. B. Sundar Rajkumar, Lecturer/Mathematics, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Secretary, Principal, faculty members, parents, and students for their enthusiastic participation and support in making the induction programme a meaningful and successful event.
