Annai Velankanni Polytechnic College, situated at Anguchettypalayam – Panruti in Cuddalore District, is run by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Anne of Tiruchirapalli (SAT). The Congregation was founded by Annammal, the Servant of God, to uplift and empower the poor, the marginalized, the weak, the destitute, the neglected children, and the oppressed women from the unethical and evil clutches of society.
The sisters of the congregation offer value-based holistic education to develop knowledge and inculcate moral, social, and spiritual values for life in students. Annai Velankanni Polytechnic College is a discipline-based institution, committed to providing skill-based technical education which makes students pioneers capable of delivering innovative solutions for the benefit of the nation.
Our vision is to impart quality education in all core disciplines by developing students who are confident, smart, intelligent, gifted and engaged with life — a harmonious blend of academics, arts, sports, emotions, attitudes, creativity, nature and life itself.
