About the Examination Cell
The Examination Cell is the apex body of the Institute, headed by the Co-ordinator of Examinations with supporting staff. Conducting all examinations and coordinating Board Examination-related works are its prime responsibilities. The Co-ordinator supports the Principal in all examination matters, and all information received from or required to be sent to the DOTE is handled here.
The Examination Cell ensures every examination is conducted with precision, fairness, and complete transparency — upholding the integrity of every student's academic journey.

Serves all examination notices received from DOTE to all concerned parties.

Prepares circulars for students regarding exam fee collection, last date of payment and fine modalities.
3
Takes all precautions while preparing the examination timetable, invigilation duties, and seating plans for smooth conduct.

Maintains all records pertaining to examinations.
5
Arranges question papers received from DOTE in series.
6
Maintains a stock register to track the progress of answer booklets.
7
Prepares hall plans, invigilation duty charts, and seat allotments for each examination.
8
Maintains separate files for both internal and external staff involved in examinations.
9
Board Examination answer sheets are dispatched to DOTE as per prescribed procedures.
10
All communication received from or to be sent to DOTE is handled exclusively by the Exam Cell.

⚑ Examination Rules
1
Examination cell serves all examination notices from DOTE to all concerned.
2
Candidates must bring their own pens, pencils, and permitted materials. Blue or black ink/ball pen is required; pencils are allowed for drawings only.
3
Only geometric tools, non-programmable calculators, and approved data books are permitted. No cell phones or other gadgets are allowed inside the hall.
4
Candidates must verify the question paper by cross-checking the subject code and title on the Hall Ticket before answering.
5
No queries about question paper corrections are allowed during examinations. Candidates must remain seated; drinking water will be served at their place.
6
Rough work must be done only in the designated space (last but one page) of the answer book. No separate rough-work book will be supplied.
7
Candidates must not possess forbidden materials, seek help from others, or assist fellow candidates. Discipline and decorum must be maintained throughout.
8
Writing names, irrelevant matter, or appeals to the examiner in the answer book constitutes malpractice.
9
Writing a wrong register number will lead to rejection of the answer script and further punishment.
10
No sheets may be detached from the main answer book or taken out of the hall. No irrelevant material should be left inside the answer script.

Candidates must ensure no forbidden materials or writings are near them. If found before commencement, it must be reported to the Invigilator (HS) immediately.

If permitted materials such as data books contain forbidden writings, claiming a borrowed instrument is no excuse — the candidate bears full responsibility.
13
Any violation of examination rules will attract punishment ranging from levying fine to permanent debarment from studies.

Candidates must read the displayed posters containing the nature of violations and their corresponding punishments.
15
No personal messages shall be delivered to any candidate until the examination is fully completed.
16
Candidates suffering from infectious diseases will not be permitted to write the examination.
