An Induction Programme for the Lateral Entry students admitted to the Academic Year 2026–2027 was conducted on 11 June 2026 in the New Seminar Hall. The programme commenced with a prayer song, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Sr. Arputhamary, HoD/ECE, delivered the Welcome Address, warmly greeting the Principal, Heads of Departments, faculty members, parents, and the newly admitted students. The Presidential Address was delivered by our respected Principal, Rev. Sr. P. Amalorpavam, who congratulated the students on joining the institution and encouraged them to make the best use of the opportunities available. The Principal emphasized the importance of discipline, commitment, academic excellence, and ethical values in achieving both personal and professional success. The programme also featured an address by Mr. P. Kirubanithi, HoD/Mechanical Engineering, who motivated the students to adapt confidently to the new academic environment and make effective use of the learning opportunities and resources provided by the institution. During the induction programme, the students were introduced to the college's vision and mission, academic regulations, examination system, campus facilities, library, laboratories, placement and training activities, student support services, and various clubs and extracurricular activities. Faculty members briefed the students on departmental activities, curriculum, and the career opportunities available after completing their respective programmes. The programme also provided an opportunity for the students to interact with the faculty members, helping them become familiar with the academic environment and the culture of the institution.
